great tips. They are all very true. I'd add go with the flow. many backpackers stick to a set plan but the best stuff happens when u just go with it..

Excellent tips, very simple but if you just stick to these you'll be having a good time. Sometimes we need to go back to basics, travelling is not about complicating things after all, that's for the politicians.

Good advice. Especially about the backpack on the bus. I never understand people who don't keep an eye on their bags. I think we just all need to be reminded once in a while. Thanks.

anyway i just wanted to say " get lost" .
My theory is - when i am lost is when i have the most fun, meeting and seeing the most interesting people, and events. AND, as long as i find myself one more time than the times i'm 'lost' i'm fine :)
